 COVID-19 RESOURCES

In 2020, at the invitation of Jason Purnell, United 4 Children was named the lead agency overseeing childcare and early childhood education for the Regional COVID-19 Response Team. U4C is leveraging networks and resources to lead partnering organizations and childcare providers during this crisis.

Each of these areas are designed to support the whole child regardless if care is taking place at home or in a child care setting. United 4 Children’s services area available to caregivers and families across the St. Louis Metro Region.

Care Coordination

As essential businesses will remain open during the COVID-19 crisis, the children of first responders will need a safe place to be during work hours.

Child Care Aware of Missouri is serving as the lead organization in providing child care referrals. Email referralcenter@mo.childcareaware.org or call the toll-free number at 866-892-3228. United 4 Children’s team is offering virtual and coaching support to childcare staff. If you would like support, email helpme@united4children.org

Basic Needs Form

In this time of crisis, childcare providers may lose access to items critical to basic needs. This includes but is not limited to: food, diapers, health and hygiene supplies. We are working together with multiple agencies to identify basic needs for centers and families. Please let us know what your needs are so that we can help the suppliers understand childcare specific needs for coordination. If you have any questions, email helpme@united4children.org
