Beth Csengody currently works at LPL Financial as the VP of Advisor Diversity and Inclusion. She has experience working directly with financial advisors with a key business focus in the women’s segment and in her last role at Wells Fargo was responsible for providing guidance and strategic direction for advisors looking to prospect or deepen relationships with female client, as well as for managers who hope to grow and retain the female FA population in their branches. The Diverse Client Segments Team within Client Experience and Growth is focused on increasing the diverse representation and inclusion of advisors and team members while also creating robust client engagement opportunities across all diverse segments.

Her area of expertise include digital marketing, brand strategy and audience evaluation, with an emphasis on the integration of emerging technologies.

Mike lives in south St. Louis with his wife Kristen and son Jack. He has worked in governmental, nonprofit and for-profit settings. Mike currently works in the financial services sector and cares deeply about early childhood development, particularly among low-income and minority communities. 

 

 Justen Coleman

Board Secretary | Centene Corporation

Justen Coleman is a Senior Manager at Centene Corporation, where Justen procures new state Medicaid contracts in diverse markets from Pennsylvania to New Mexico, creating innovative care delivery models for vulnerable members of the community, from children in low income households to older Americans with functional limitations and individuals with physical disabilities. Academically, Justen has a background in Economics and Financial Economics and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Vanderbilt University in 2008. 

Justen has been recognized with multiple Key Contributor Awards from Centene Corporation for work in Business Development, has received a Person Centered Thinking Certificate and is a current Fellow with St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative. Justen woks to create Medicaid health plans which successfully integrate health care (including behavioral health) with social determinants (food insecurity, toxic stress, etc.) while overall increasing access to care. 

Justen is a golf coach with Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club Junior Tee-Masters, a member of Emerging 100, Division of 100 Black Men of Metro St. Louis and a member of The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis Chess Players, St. Louis, MO.

Advancement Chair | Federal Reserve Bank

Stephanie Gebel is assistant vice president for the Federal Reserve Bank. She brings with her experience in information technology, finance, strategic planning, diversity, equity, inclusion, and more. Usher was a member of the Spring 2023 Cohort of FOCUS St. Louis Women in Leadership. She is a licensed foster care provider with Bringing Families Together and volunteers at All For Family. 

 

“I have always been an advocate for children and I’m looking to be part of an organization that can make a positive impact on their lives,” Usher shared.

Susan Brewster is a strategic growth manager for Hussmann. While her current role is in strategy, she brings with her more than 20 years of experience in product marketing, brand management and marketing communications. Brewster was a member of the Spring 2023 Cohort of FOCUS St. Louis Women In Leadership. She also gives her time as a Make-A-Wish granter and a St. Louis Food Bank volunteer. 

“I love our community and want to see it thrive-starting with giving children a chance to learn and grow,” Brewster shared.

Steve Bowman is a Partner and VP of Sales and Marketing at Model Technology Solutions, a leading St. Louis based provider of cybersecurity and IT managed services and solutions for small and mid-market businesses.  Steve lives in Creve Coeur, Missouri with his wife and three children. He is passionate about giving back to society and helping those in need. Steve is a member of Harvester Christian Church in St. Charles, MO where he works in spiritual formation and drives for the HCC food pantry, as well as other service activities.

Strong business management professional with a Master’s Degree focused in Communications and Management from Webster University.

Tim Mueller

Board Member | Boeing

Tim Mueller serves as a senior business manager on the MQ-25 program in Boeing Defense, Space & Security where he leads a team of finance analysts through financial forecasts, business case analysis, budgeting, and acquisition strategy. He’s also a passionate advocate for employee coaching & development.

Tim graduated with his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2018 and from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2012 with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He is an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, and enjoys running, competitive sports, watching St. Louis/Illini sports, playing guitar, and reading.

Jonathan Strong

Jonathan Strong

Board Member | City of St. Louis

Jonathan Strong is the new chief equity and inclusion officer for the City of St. Louis. Prior to that, Strong served as principal of Meramec Elementary School for the St. Louis Public School District and has more than 20 years of experience working in education. He helped found an organization called Seed mentoring and serves as an advisor to the Kilalo Rights of Passage board. Strong appreciates any chance to support families, children and to give back to the community.  

“I love the focus on early child development and giving all children a solid foundation to grow from,” Strong said of why he was drawn to United 4 Children.
