Ways to Give
Give a gift to ensure children can thrive!
There are a variety of ways an individual, company, or foundation can support youth, child care providers, and families throughout Missouri.
Please note our legal name: Child Day Care Association of St. Louis, dba United 4 Children

One Time and Ongoing Donations
You can give a child the foundation to thrive! Children are born with the capacity to thrive and the desire to learn and build foundational relationships.
United 4 Children works with early child care providers to train them, to coach them and to support them to nurture whole-child development. When the child care providers are supported…the children they serve feel safe, feel nourished and feel nurtured.
Gift an Asset
You invest, a child profits. It’s that simple.
Below are a few ways to gift an asset:
- Make a gift through a retirement plan asset, such as an IRA charitable distribution.
- Make a gift in stocks! See below
- Make a gift through the fastest-growing giving method and tax-efficient method, a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).
*Consult your financial advisor for the option best for you.
NAP Credits
United 4 Children is now proud to offer 50% Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits to businesses making a gift of $5,000 or more. The tax credit is used to offset an eligible donor’s income tax liability and is claimed when the donor files their Missouri tax return.
Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Some companies may even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
Third Party Events
If you are part of organizing a fundraiser for your group or company, consider making United 4 Children the beneficiary of the event. Third party events can be as simple as a jean day at work to a more involved event such as a golf tournament or a 5K.
