Training & Professional Development
Interactive training sessions designed to strengthen teaching practices, classroom organization, and child development knowledge, providing educators with practical information and strategies they can apply in their classrooms. Professional development is tailored to educators’ needs and aligned with current early childhood standards. Sessions are available onsite or virtually for individual staff or program teams.
Inclusion & Behavioral Support
Support is provided to help educators create inclusive classroom environments that meet the diverse developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs of children. Services focus on practical strategies that help children participate successfully in daily routines, learning activities, and peer interactions. Guidance is collaborative, classroom-based, and responsive to the needs of both teachers and children.
Child Care Program Technical Assistance
Technical assistance offers individualized support for programs that have identified a specific challenge, concern, or goal and need guidance with classroom practices, program policies and procedures, planning, or problem-solving. Services are responsive to the unique needs of each program and focused on developing practical strategies to address identified issues.
Our Education Consultants may provide support onsite, virtually, by phone, or through email consultation, depending on the needs of the program.
Classroom Observations & Feedback
Classroom observations provide educators with supportive feedback focused on classroom environment, routines, and teacher-child interactions. An Education Consultant spends time in the classroom observing practices and gathering information about what is happening in the learning environment.
Recommendations are practical, strengths-based, and designed to support everyday classroom improvement. Follow-up support and technical assistance can be provided as needed to help educators implement recommendations.
Educator & Classroom Coaching
Coaching provides ongoing support for educators who have identified a specific classroom challenge or goal. Working alongside teachers, U4C Education Consultants offer practical strategies, feedback, and resources to strengthen classroom practices and build confidence over time. Coaching is individualized, collaborative, and focused on achieving measurable progress and is offered in three, six, and twelve month blocks.
Classroom Evaluations
Evaluation helps identify educator & classroom strengths, areas for growth, and opportunities for additional support. Through observations and assessment, educators receive objective feedback and recommendations tailored to their classroom. When appropriate, evaluation serves as the foundation for a coaching plan that provides continued guidance and support.
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credentialing Support & Guidance
Support is available for educators working toward completion of their Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Guidance may include help with portfolios, documentation, competency standards, exam preparation, and preparation requirements. The process is designed to keep candidates organized, prepared, and supported throughout completion.
