WHEN YOUR CHILD IS HAVING CHALLENGES

While finding and maintaining quality care for your child or youth can be challenging for any family, when a child has special needs the challenges can seem insurmountable.  United 4 Children is here to help! Whether your child has a diagnosed disability such as cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD; a developmental delay; or significant challenging behavior, the Inclusion Specialists at United 4 Children can support your family by:

  • Provide you with a list of potential child care providers. This list is personalized to your requirements for location and hours, and provides information about the providers’ previous experience with a range of special needs.  We give you resources on how to talk with programs about your child, and things to look for when choosing care.
  • Working directly with your child’s potential provider to prepare for your child’s enrollment.
  • Supporting the teachers and caregivers in your child’s current setting to develop strategies and action plans that will help your child have the best experience possible.

We have specialists throughout the State of Missouri who are ready to work with you, your child and your child’s teachers.

For general information about our Inclusion Services, feel free to contact our main office at 314-531-1412 or 1-800-467-2322 and ask to speak to an Inclusion Specialist.
