Stronger Together for St. Louis Families
United 4 Children and Navigate STL Schools are excited to announce our intent to merge, creating one unified organization dedicated to helping Missouri’s children and families thrive from birth through graduation.
Our partnership began through collaboration and mutual respect. After working together on a joint programming framework, we realized we could serve families more effectively by joining forces, working smarter, not harder.
United 4 Children ensures children are given the opportunity for kindergarten readiness by supporting the educators who care for them through its trusted network of child care providers across Missouri. Navigate STL Schools helps families in the St. Louis region make informed decisions about their child’s education from kindergarten to graduation. Through this merger, both missions connect the dots between increasing not only a child’s readiness for school, but also the family’s readiness for school, while the community benefits from families, educators, and schools being more strongly connected.
United 4 Children’s CEO, Deanna Finch explains, “Our combined organization represents not just a merger of services, but of shared purpose, to uplift every child’s potential.”
Navigate STL Schools’ CEO, Anna-Stacia Allen adds, “By joining forces with United 4 Children, we’re creating a stronger network for St. Louis families and one that simplifies access and amplifies impact.”
Together, and rooted in shared values, we’ll ensure:
- More children are ready for kindergarten and beyond.
- Families experience a seamless continuum of support from early childhood through high school graduation.
- Educators and schools know how to support children AND families in their educational journey.
Thanks to the initial support of the Berges Family Foundation, this merger will serve as a beacon for collaboration over competition, strengthening St. Louis’s nonprofit landscape and improving outcomes for children and families across the region. United 4 Children and Navigate STL Schools are combining their strengths to make lasting change for families.
