United 4 Children is providing assistance to providers who are applying for the St. Louis County CARE’s Act Child Care Relief Fund which is EXTENDED TO JULY 14, 2020.  We have a schedule of webinars and workshops to guide you with typical grant language and budgeting to make it easier for you to apply for these funds. 
Approximately $5.9 million will be allocated for the Child Care Relief Program. Funding is available for the child care programs in St. Louis County, Missouri based on the capacity of the program up to $24,000.

ST LOUIS COUNTY LIBRARIES
The St. Louis County Libraries are open for technical assistance. Their services include:

  • Reference librarians available by chat, email (reference@slcl.org), and Zoom appointment, Mon-Thurs, 9:00-6:00pm and Fri-Sat, 9:00-5:00pm. They can give technical assistance like explaining how to convert documents to PDF/upload documents/create Survey Monkey accounts, and refer to local organizations that can provide more help.
  • Free wifi access in all 20 branch parking lots, 24/7
  • Free printouts (up to 60 pages) that can be picked up curbside at any branch Mon-Thurs, 1:00-6:00pm and Fri-Sat, 1:00-5:00pm
    Free computers and internet available at all 20 locations for 45 minute sessions (no appointment necessary)
  • Scanning, printing, and copying available at all 20 locations

CHILD CARE AWARE 

Child Care Aware® of Missouri is offering free grant application technical assistance for the St. Louis County CARE’s Act Child Care Relief Fund.  Assistance includes:

  • Guidance on financial components of grant application
  • 12 one hour, in-person sessions (limited to 6 people per session)
  • 3 one hour, webinar sessions (limited to 20 people per session)
  • Computer and Wi-Fi access available for all in-person sessions
  • Printer, copier and scanner available for grant-related documents during in-person sessions
  • Technical Assistance on converting, uploading and scanning documents during in-person sessions
  • Phone technical assistance available 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday-Friday
