Title: Early Childhood Project Coordinator – Focus on early childcare providers, home visiting, and
early childhood prevention programs (prenatal – age 5)


Position Overview:
The Early Childhood (EC) Project Coordinator is a member of the MHB team and as such, contributes
to the overall success of the organization in achieving its vision to build an equitable, thriving
community by strengthening a coordinated system of social, behavioral and physical health services.
They will report to the Director of Children’s Services in collaboration with members of the Community
Early Childhood Advisory Board and the early childhood provider community. The EC Project
Coordinator assists in implementing community investments of the St. Louis MHB. This includes
participating in the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) process, preparing material for Review
Committees, providing support and technical assistance to early childhood programs, monitoring
ongoing results, learning reviews, and making periodic site visits, consistent with statutory, regulatory
and board policies.
