United 4 Children’s Lighting the Way at the Races Gala on April 19, 2018 was a Kentucky derby style affair like no other.  The evening started with our VIP Pre-Party which featured the smooth sounds of Joe Mancuso and Dave Black.  Once again our very own Colonel William “Harland Sanders” Barbieri did a fantastic job of entertaining our guests as the Master of Ceremonies. Our guests joined us adorned in their fancy derby duds and hats, for a chance to win “Best Hat” and “Best Dressed”.

With your help and support $104,000 was raised.  We can’t thank you enough for your contribution to our mission.  These funds will help thousands of at-risk children in the Missouri and Illinois.  Without YOU this would not be possible!

Special thanks to our gala sponsors Slay Industries, Knight Hawk Coal, Ameran, CGB Enterprises, Jackie Joyner Kersee Foundation, Emerson, ESRT, Edward Jones, First Bank, Express Scripts, American Commercial Barge Lines, Archford Capital Strategies, Cannon Utilities, Tom Shaw Realtors, Cheryl Gusewelle, Chuck and Janet Mueller and Fox Family Foundation.

Thank you to our gala committee, board members, volunteers, staff and to every person that contributed to this event.

Thank you again for making children a priority!

P.S. We did not quite reach our goal of $115,000. If you have not had the chance to give, please click here.  Without your support, thousands of at-risk children will  not receive our help.
