Young Friends Board

United 4 Children’s Young Friends Board is focused on finding new ways to drive awareness and community engagement of United 4 Children through exciting events, collaborative get togethers, and social networking to continue to help children in our community. Data Entry

Volunteer Title:       Data Entry Assistant

Purpose:  The position of the Data Entry Assistant will assist staff with the input of training surveys into NEON a training database software or Microsoft Excel.

Location:  The Data Entry Assistant works at the agency’s office at 1310 Papin, Suite 100B, St. Louis, MO 63103.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Data Entry Assistant will enter training surveys into NEON.
  • The Data Entry Assistant will generate a report of the surveys if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Annual Fund Coordinator

Length of Appointment:  The Data Entry Assistant is assigned to one day per week or however many hours the volunteer chooses.

Time Commitment:  Ideally, one day per week (M, W, or F) for six hours 9-12 am and 1-4 pm).

Qualifications:  Basic knowledge of computer and data entry, Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability.

Support:  Training for the position will be provided. 

Age Requirement:  18 and over

Dress Code:  Business casual

Advancement Committee

DESCRIPTION

United 4 Children is seeking passionate community leaders to join our Fund Development Committee.  United 4 Children is a child and youth focused organization that works to change the path for at-risk children. 

ADVANCEMENT COMMITTEE

The Advancement Committee assists the Community Engagement Director and Executive Director in creating and implementing the fund development plan, marketing, communications and branding strategies. The Advancement Chair leads the committee. This committee meets monthly or as needed.

If you’re interested in helping shape children’s lives so they can become our strong future, then this is the Committee for you.

PROGRAM COMMITTEE

The Program Committee reviews the various programs offered by the agency to determine their viability, relevance to mission, financial situation, and level of demand or need and be available to the Deputy Director and Service Director for advice on program development and service delivery methods.  The Program Chair leads the committee. This committee meets monthly or as needed.

The Governance Committee recommends policies to the board pertaining to governance issues and processes including; nomination, orientation, and training of new board members; nomination of officers; evaluation and improvement of the contribution of individual board members and officers; and recommendation of changes to the bylaws, governing documents and organizational legal documents changesThe Governance Chair leads the committee. This committee meets monthly or as needed.

The Board Development Committee member shall identify, research, cultivate, recruit, orient, involve and acknowledge committed and effective new board members, appropriate to the current and future needs for United 4 Children. The committee aids in the enlistment, recruitment, and onboarding of new Board members. The Board Development Chair leads the committee. This committee meets monthly or as needed.
