Children who do not receive healthy foods are 76% more likely to have challenges in cognitive, language & behavioral development. 89.5% of our children live in low income and low food secure environments. For over 40 years, our Child Nutrition Services has assisted Family Child Care Home Providers in serving nutritious meals and snacks.
Family Child Care Home Providers receive:

- Three (3) one-on-one support sessions each year
- Training on how to plan and serve low cost, nutritious meals
- Assistance which assure parents that children eat healthy meals while in your care
Let us sponsor your child care home on the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
We are an official sponsor of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for family child care home providers in both Missouri and Illinois. We provide child nutrition education and reimbursement for meals and snacks served to children that meet the USDA guidelines. Both licensed and registered/exempt child care providers may qualify to participate in this food program.
