This May brought unforeseen challenges to our community, including to our very own office, which was impacted by the recent tornado that swept through the St. Louis region. While we were grateful no one on our team was injured, the damage reminded us just how deeply these events disrupt the lives of families, children, and child care providers. Within hours of the storm, our team mobilized to help coordinate relief efforts, especially for displaced child care providers and families navigating sudden uncertainty.

In continued partnership with St. Louis Blues for Kids, U4C delivered a support package of social-emotional learning toys and games to Williams Academy in St. Louis. This marks the 30th delivery of these supplies to child care centers in need through this partnership, and to celebrate this special milestone, Louie, the St. Louis Blues’ beloved mascot, stopped by to say hello and spread joy!

United 4 Children (U4C) is thrilled to announce the appointment of AJ Foster and Chris Rowland to it’s Board of Directors. The U4C Board acts as the highest leadership body of the organization and is responsible for strategical and organizational planning, ensuring strong fiduciary oversight and financial management, fundraising and resource development, enhancing the organization’s public image, and more.
