United 4 Children is proud to announce the 1st annual Fall Conference addressing ‘Breaking the Preschool to Prison Pipeline’ Friday, October 4, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at UMSL University. Attendees will hear from influential individuals in the St. Louis area and look at trauma informed care and how it influences children through 12 total clock hour training sessions for Missouri and Illinois. General admission for both days is only $60.
You will walk away with a stronger understanding of the importance of young children’s emotional development and learn new ways to foster the development of self regulation, empathy, motivation, self awareness and social skills. These new concepts and practices will help change the lives of children you serve because “Every child needs at least one adult who is irrationally crazy about him or her.”-Urie Bronfenbrenner
