Full Time Inclusion Specialist – Social Emotional Early Childhood Project
The Inclusion Specialist – SEEC provides extensive training and on-site observation and consultation service to classroom teachers enrolled in United 4 Children’s Social Emotional Early Childhood (SEEC) project.  This project focuses on improving the skills of teachers and administrators to support children’s social and emotional development, and to address challenging behaviors in a pro-active, positive manner.  Requirements include a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree, and at least two year’s experience supporting children of all abilities in typical classroom settings, including children with challenging behavior.  Must be able to speak well in public, and to build strength-based relationships with adults and children from diverse backgrounds. United 4 Children is seeking an Intern interested in nonprofit development, event planning and/or fundraising, previous internships at nonprofit organizations are a plus.

Responsibilities include:
Assist with events (Quarter Auction January, 2015 and Annual Event, and Golf Tournament 2015)
Assist with administrative tasks
Assist with volunteer processing
Work with database
Other task as needed

Reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail
Strong writting and communications skills
Ability to work well both alone and with a team
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Commitment to United 4 Children’s mission

Time commitment:
10-15 hours per week, flexible on days and times.  Preferred start date immediately with one month’s commitment.
